Chapter 5: Season 3, also known as Season 29, is the twenty-ninth season of Fortnite: Battle Royale and the third season of Chapter 5. This is the third season to feature the Helios map.
The season’s main slogan is Apocalypse.
How did it start?[]
After an huge battle with the Storm King an large portion of the island explodes, the Save the World characters enter the island, and the waters are left purple.
Battle Pass[]
The Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks, with an additional 25-Level Boost offered for 1,950 V-Bucks available via the Item Shop. If you own a Fortnite Crew subscription, you will unlock the Battle Pass for free.
Each Battle Pass level requires 80,000 . Up to 100 levels can be bought for 150 V-Bucks each, with the first 25 being discounted.
The Battle Pass consists of these outfits:
- Apocalypse Ray: A version of Ray that looks like shes through the apocalypse. "I'm Ray, and we're the commander support crew! At least, we would be... if we had a commander."
- Kraven the Hunter: An iconic Spider-Man villain inspired by Sony's Kraven the Hunter movie. "Because, in my own way, Spider-Man, I am a man of honor -- And you are a foe worthy of respect."
- Stormwarrior Peely: A version of Peely that survived the Apocalypse, has an New Seven style. "Na-na-na"
- JoneSee Bot: A Robot from STW "I- Am- Jone-See-Bot."
- MERMONSTER: A Mermonster Ken from STW "Don't judge on looks, judge on kills."
- Llamurai: A version of STW's SWIFT SHURIKEN LLAMURAI. "This is one skilled Llama."
- Red Hood: The first DC series skin of the Battle Pass. "His name is Jason Todd. A lot of people say he's crazy. Maybe they're right."
- Supergirl: The Second DC series skin of the Battle Pass. "My mother sent me on a mission to Earth to find my father's killer, i'm supposed to be in Metropolis right now." This Battle Pass also has 1 Secret Skin:
- Top5Gaming: A Fortnite icon skin. "It's Tommy"
Map[]
- Steamy Railways will be replaced with Ruined Railway, an old ruin of what once was an railway.
- The Ruins will be rebuild into Camp Reel
- Frenzy Fields will become Frenzy Remains, a camp of a small group of people living of the farm.
- Pleasant Plaza will become Camp Plaza.
- Ritzy Harbor will become Ritzy Seabase, home of the New Seven.
- Hazy Hillsides will be replaced by Hazy Homebase.
- Grand Glacier will be a small remaining part of the old way it was with a thick layer of snow.
- Classy Courts will become Sports Base.
- The New Seven Base will cease to exist.
- The Jacht will be replaced by Jacht Ruins, a base build on the Ruins of the Jacht.
- The Middle of the Map will become a dessert.

Storyline[]
After the Event the world was left destroyed. The Loopers worked together with the STW crew to rebuild, leading into this season. In the end of the season, New Seven member, Ohm, found out about an alien invasion and build an new Point of Interest, Stellar Scans, an place with an huge scanner.
This leads into Chapter 5 Season 4: Parasite.
